The video also included a short quote from Mr Trump saying: ‘I think you’ll be happy in the future too’ – although it did not provide any further context.

Mr Trump is expected to speak about the January attack on the US Capitol and his impeachment for allegedly inciting it. The US Senate later acquitted him.

He is also going to speak about running for president again in 2024, having said earlier this year that he was ‘very seriously, beyond seriously’ considering it.

Mr Farage and Mr Trump have appeared together on stage before, with the former Ukip leader speaking at an election rally in Phoenix, Arizona, last October.

They also held talks in November 2016 at Trump Tower in New York, which saw Mr Farage the first British politician to meet the president following his election victory.

Tomorrow’s interview was promoted today on the GB News social media feeds as well as by Mr Farage, who told his 1.6million followers: ‘Don’t miss it!’

Mr Trump, who lost the most recent US election to Joe Biden last November, was permanently banned from Twitter in January after amassing 88.7million followers.

And in June, Facebook suspended Mr Trump’s Facebook and Instagram accounts for two years – with both bans due to posts he made about the US Capitol riots.

Farage: The Trump Interview will air tomorrow from 7pm on GB News, on Freeview and YouView channel 236, Sky HD 515, Virgin Media HD 626 and Freesat HD 216
